The N.F. Board is a football association which was setup in December 2003. They represent “nations” including autonomous territories, dependencies, unrecognised states, minorities, stateless peoples etc. that are not recognised by FIFA.
They organised the first “Viva World Cup” which took place in 2006, alongside the FIFA World Cup which was held in Germany, the Viva World Cup being held in Occitania.
The Viva World Cup has grown so much in popularity since then, that in 2012, the 5th edition was held in Kurdistan. A host of nine teams took part with hosts Kurdistan beating Northern Cyprus in the final.
